Vehicle Detail

Up for Auction is my Dads 1966 Honda CB160. He owned this in the late 60s to early 70s and had installed the Scrambler exhaust, sold it to a friend who owned it for 30 some years, he had rode it for a couple of years then it sat for 20+ years. My Dad bought it back a number of years ago and got it running again, had the tank and fenders repainted, replaced the tires, had the speedo repaired, cleaned the inside of the tank, and added new rubber covers on the side of the tank. other than that no other restoration work was done. The rest of the bike is completely original and pretty good condition. All chrome is original and is showing it's age, it cleans up ok but does have some pitting. The engine does run pretty good but could be freshed as it does foul the plugs after 100 or so miles. The trans works as it should. The seat cover is original and looks decent, but it does have a 1 inch tear on the rear of the seat. The forks should be rebuilt, they are stiff. The side covers are present and have also been repainted, just not currently on the bike. The bike does come with the Clymer manual, original air filters, original tool kit, and some misc parts all shown in the pics. This is a neat old bike that presents itself pretty well. This is being sold AS IS NO WARRANY! As I said before I am listing this for my Dad, but it is at my house so any question I can check out the bike or ask my Dad. Any questions please ask! I have 100% positive feedback and like to keep it that way. $200 non refundable deposit due 48 hours after close of auction and the rest at time of pick-up. Winning bidder reponsable for picking it up or shipping. On Dec-14-10 at 09:42:46 PST, seller added the following information: Just wanted to let everyone know and be upfront, we had it running this morning and it quit, the coil died. If we have time and the weather warms up just a bit we will swap it out with another one. I will post it if we get it swapped.
