Vehicle Detail

1950 Suburban, original survivor project, very very complete incuding clam sheel back doors. This potential project has been sitting since 1984. Driven from Montana to Oregon, parked where it sat until 3 months ago when I brought it home to Arizona. With about a day of work it is my belief it could be up and running if you wanted, my plan was to tear it down and begin a build. It is the most complete Suburban in terms of being original and having all the parts. Original hub caps, front and rear bumpers, all the seats, seat frames, clam shell back doors, running boards, mirrors, badges and even the wheels are original to it. The only two pieces I can not find are the headlight rings. Motor and transmission are original and again it has not been started or run since 84. All the glass and glass trim pieces are here and they are all original (two pieces of glass broken but its flat so easy to replace) Someone converted to 12volt in about 1982. It has rust issues but not so much that I am afraid of it, but maybe more than you are willing to take on, frame and underneath are fine, rust is in body panelsfloors etc typical of these. It is original and unrestored, it is a project but a very worthy one. We have all seen panels around but not many full on Suburbans from 1940-58 are still around. Please feel free to contact with any questions and please feel free to come look at it as well. I of course will help load it and get it on a trailer where ever it might be going. That includes repairing tires so they all hold air! Clean title in hand. I am selling off a few of my cars, these are my cars, I am not a dealer just happen to have a bad addiction as it relates to buying building and restoring great Chevys 1940-58 Fords 1929-55 Dodges 1935-66, misc muscle cars, rat rods, street rods, projects sedans, roadsters, coupes and classics.
