Hard to find a nicer or more perfect 23 year old car like this one folks!......1- Female OWNER, NON-Smoker, Garage kept and dealer serviced and maintained from new! Rare Cougar XR-7 Special Edition with factory Sport Appearance package and Performance/Handling package! 1987 model with the EFI 5.0L-V8 engine, automatic transmission with selectable overdrive, loaded with leather seating, power locks, windows, mirrors and seat, air conditioning, am-fm radio, tinted glass, tilt wheel, cruise control, high back bucket seats with center console, full carpeing and headliner, alloy wheels, two tone paint, etc......SUPER NICE CAR!!! Within the last 500 miles it has had new replacement dual exhaust, all four radial tires, safety inspection good through next July, completely serviced with new fluids and filters, brakes serviced, etc........Very well kept car....AND IT SHOWS!! Over $1600 in recent service/maintenance work! Interior is in great shape and not ripped up or worn out, no smells or damages! Clean and in original condition! Digital dash and all guages work properly and are bright! Radio works, heat works, everything seems to work properly except cruise....it worked twice for me but does not always work. Nice tight steering column also. Body is also in great shape, solid, straight and clean/original condition!! LOOKS AWESOME!! Paint looks great!! Has super nice shine, good pinstriping and looks awesome! Has a small blister/bubble in paint right in front of both rear tires, down low on rocker panels but hardly noticeable and is extremely minor. Looks SUPER!! Very clean and original underneath....no bottom outs, no rust and no current or previous damages/repairs noticed. Car starts right up and ruuns super with no odd noises or smoke noticed and idles smooth, revs up strong with no hesitations or misses! Super nice runner, hold good oil pressure and water temperature. NO known mechanical issues AT ALL!!!! Transmission shifts properly and is smooth and tight with no slipping or clunking. All original and unmollested and clean under the hood! Car drives and handles just like new......SUPER NICE DRIVER......DRIVE ANYWHERE!! Folks, it is a 23 year old car and not new....BUT....it is probably as nice as or nicer, more perfect than any other 1987 Cougar you will ever find...PERIOD! Been in business over 15 years now and owned several XR-7 Cougars but never had one that had all factory packages and was a Special Edition.....AND.....NEVER had one this nice, clean and sharp! Rare, rare car and she is a driver folks.....drive it home for your bid!
