Hi,up for auction is my 1940 Chevrolet club coupe seating 5 passengers. In good storage in California for many years it came East a few years ago.and was in nice storage until very recently. It now has a new gas tank, new battery, refurbished radiator, rebuilt carburetor and more. The 40 Chev also has a DURA Co. of Los Angeles, rebuilt motor with low miles on it. A new clutch was installed at the same time. It starts with the first turn of the starter and runs very smoothly. This is an original car with 98% original paint and no repair work or patch panels. The ONLY rust are a few pinholes in one end of the tool tray. It's hard to see in the pics but there is still black paint on parts of the floor. It has radio and DeLuxe bumper guards with a fold down guard in the rear. With a small amount of brake work etc. this car could be a reliable daily driver. The only negatives I can think of are the brakes I mentioned and dents in the running board moldings. Thanks for looking and bidding.
