We get items in, drive them for 2-3 days, check them out as best we can (we put most items on our Rotary shop lift).....most ebay items get pictured while on our lift, so you can see the underneath also! We also check all fluids and top off as needed before the vehicle gets put into storage and sold on ebay. By selling items this basic/wholesale way, we can afford to sell for alot less money = minimal investment = minimal profit - saves you, the buyer, alot of money!! Ok folks, here is a nice Super Beetle with 59k original miles (title documented/DMV recorded), appears to be all/mostly original and stock. This is a 1971 with the 1600cc dual port engine with original generator (never been converted to alternator), 4 speed maual transmission, high back bucket seats, rear bench seat, full headliner and carpeting, dual chrome exhaust tips, SIDE WING Vent windows, solid steel/chrome wheels with baby moon center caps, etc....COOL OLD BEETLE!! Tires are poor....fronts are worn......should have front end alligment and front tires. Rear tires have great tread but are weathered/old. All hold air with no leaks. Interior is decent with some wear from use/age like some frays and small tears in front seats but all in all good shape, original, clean and looks very nice overall. Headliner is good also. No radio or antenna. Steering wheel is aftermarket and has a little play...needs tightened or replaced with an original. Hood latch inside glovebox is loose but still works....just needs screwed fast again. All glass is good and windows all work nicely. Wipers work, blower fan/defrost works but not hot....possible heat exchange/flappers not working or hooked up properly. Heat tubes are there...see pictures. Lights: headlights work, all parking/running lights work, 4 ways work and blink proper. One rear and one front turn signal do not work and brake lights do not work. Rear tail lights were swapped out for non-factory ones. Both bumpers are missing. Body is pretty darn nice for 40 years old! Very little surface rust/blisters around edges of hood/trunk lids and door edges, just where paint has chipped or blistered....nothing major at all. Floor pans are mostly solid and original with small holes at rears of floor pans (see pics) and some minor little spots here and there but again, nothing major and just nice for 40 years old! Car has not been all chopped up or pop riveted together and undercoated like most redone bugs! Original and decent undeneath! Nice solid and original metal car. Paint looks very nice overall with some fading, scratches and chips here and there but looks very nice overall. ****Remember folks, car has been sitting in storage for several years. Our rollback driver picked it up and delivered to us today. Started right up and everything mentioned is how we got it in, no work or servicing was done by us. We ran it for about an hour or so with fresh gas, checked all fluids and test drove around the block....thats it! We have no room to store inside and no time for even the smallest project like this one, so it needs to get sold!!....Now, we are listing on ebay for the high bidder to win it....NO RESERVE!! Car starts good and runs good. No odd noises or smoke. Idles well. Transmission and clutch shift properly with no slipping or grinding. Strong runner and good driver. ******Clean and clear title with 59k ORIGINAL MILES!!
