1947 DODGE BUSINESS COUPE.. 3 WINDOW, 2 SEATER, VERY VERY RARE COUPE. When was the last time you saw a coupe like this.. HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN A RARE COUPE,SERIOUSLY, WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW ONE OF THESE?? Restoration was started a couple years ago. The 350 Chevy Motor was rebuilt about 6 years ago,it has very low miles since... has a 350 automatic transmition.. It has front disc brakes from a camaro,camaro rear end as well.. camaro suspension.Camaro clip...... The radiator has a very small leak, very nice driver, it will need suspension work as it has no rear shocks.. The trunk has been reupholstered along with the whole interior,seat ,carpet and headliner,visors.... the gauges do not work,it has a newer temperature gauge that works..The gas tank was cleaned a year ago.. Brakes work great however it needs the emergency brake fixed...The tires are fair,new mirrors,the chrome trim on the outside was redone a year ago,but there is some pitting on trunk lock,rear light,hood ornament.,but all the rest of the chrome including the bumpers were rechromed.... 2 very light scratches on the DRIVER siderear fender could be fixed easily. the interior dash chrome is missing some knobs,but recently i found another dash that comes with all the knobs but i havent had time to remove the excisting one and replace it with the extra one i have. i also just purchased a used push bottom,mine was missing. clock does not work,you will need to finish door locks. the handles are in great shape but needs door locks. also the door rotors and strikers will need new ones.. It comes with a nice edelbrock 4 barrel carburator . ..it needs the parking light lenses. The bottom chrome trim needs to be installed but the car comes with it,it has also been rechromed. I also have original hubcaps that were rechromed too but have small dings... THe right side front fender will need to be moved back a little as the tire barely hits it when you turn the wheel. I have been driving the car for about 6 months and i have not have a breakdown.. THIS CAR USED TO BE MY DAILY DRIVER,I STARTED TO DRIVE IT AGAIN AND IT DRIVES VERY NICE...power steering works, you will have to do some work to the hood locks as they need work...... Overall the car is great but needs some work to complete restoration.... AGAIN,VERY VERY RARE BODY STYLE...... HATE TO PART FROM IT... PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BIFORE BIDDING.. IVE HAD THIS CAR FOR 12 YEARS, its been good to me.......On Dec-06-10 at 19:33:49 PST, seller added the following information: I am revising this again because there are things that i forgot to list and bidders have been asking me and so i feel that i have to be honest...the license plates do come with the car. I have another dashboard that comes with the car that has all the knobs..I also placed the battery in the trunk of the car ,so in one of the pictures of the engine,there is a strap by the battery tray,thats where the battery used to be of course and the strap was to hold down the battery.. at one time there was some rust along the trunk and the driver side fender,all that was fixed when the car was painted,. the front right fender where the tire rubs a little,all you need to do is unweld a rod that was welded behind the fender for support, once you do that,the fender can be pulled to the front to clear it from the tire..
