Here for sale is my pride and joy, my 2001 740il. This has been an excellent car for us, the winter storage costs have risen and work has been slow, The decision to sell was not easy, but necessary. The car is fresh off a thanksgiving trip to Atlanta seeing the family. Newly inspected in October, we had a new sway bar and bushings installed, as well as new front and rear brakes $825.00. BMW parts only, no aftermarket stuff here. We also replaced the alternator about 7 months ago, a new Bosch $800.00. All service on this car was done by A&L BMW in Monroeville, Pa. There is an $280.00 oxygen sensor that could be replaced, but is not necessary according to BMW We did not have the car detailed to sell, we keep it in this condition at all times, I worked very hard to purchase this car, and worked very hard to keep it beautiful. I purchased this car from my boss's mother, it was her daily driver in the summer and stored indoors its entire life. It has EVERY OPTION avail. for the 2001 model year and averages 26.3 mpg. There are two slight imperfections in the entire car. 1. just below the driver door there are 3 light scratches from the previous owners high heel shoes. They will probably buff out. 2. There are some small hairline scratches on the bottom of the back bumper, you have to bend down to see them, but I want to give the most accurate description possible.
