Here we have, at a low reserve, this excellent running and driving GMC 2500 4x4 Turbo Diesel pickup. This truck is the heavy duty 2500 series with 8 lug axles, instead of the 6 lug. 4 wheel drive high and low range work correctly. There is NO RUST on the body anywhere. The tires are 245/75/R16 E range with good tread still left. It has a strong running 6.5 turbo Diesel and an NV4500 5 speed manual transmission. We just had our mechanic install a new clutch assembly on this truck. It shifts beautifully through all the gears with no sign of any clutch chatter or slipping. The engine has also recieved an oil and filter change, along with a new fuel filter. The brakes and steering work excellent. The Diesel engine shows no signs of blowby, and the glow plugs and injectors are all funtioning correctly. It does not smoke or overheat. It runs very smooth and quiet. It does not leak oil. It doesn't leak any Diesel fuel. The Interstate batteries work very well. The engine appears to have been replaced at some point, because it runs far too good for 190K miles. There is an improved PMD module and cooler installed which takes care of one of the most common problems with these. There are several dings, dents, and blemishes throughout the truck which should be considered average wear and tear, consistent with it's age and mileage. Overall, it still looks very decent and would make someone a great truck for hauling around stuff or work. I have included photos of the damage. The interior is in fair to good condition. The driver door panel has a missing armrest cusion. The front seat is very nice. (not torn up.) There is NO functioning radio. The heater works great on high speed, but there's no low. The oil pressure gauge doesn't work at all, and hasn't worked for the 300+ miles I have driven it. As far as fuel economy, It is not uncommon for these trucks to get 18+ MPG. The truck is very enjoyable to drive and will put a smile on your face with the low end torque it makes. With any used vehicle, it is nearly impossible to cover every last square inch in detail with this brief description. All vehicles that we purchase and offer for resale have clear Title, in our possesion. We do NOT deal in any vehicles with salvage title histories, period. The State of Colorado automatically exempts the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply have a "0" indicated for odometer reading. That doesn't indicate that the mileage is unknown, or has been tampered with. It simply means they are no longer keeping track of mileage after that. Preparing, listing, and managing these online auctions costs real time and money.
