1987 Suzuki Samurai. Fitted with a 4.3 V6 Chevy motor by professional mechanic in Atlanta. One of three made. Motor runs good. 700R4 Trans professionally rebuilt. 4X4 works. Body and paint good but one fender and hood could use a little work. Interior and Best Top very good. Overall the truck is fun to drive and quick off the line. There are numerous possibilities to improve the performance and looks of the truck as there are many custom fabricators and enthusiasts of this truck. I am selling because I have too many vehicles. I purchased the car in 2003 from the second owner. With his help I traced the truck to original owner (professional drag car racer and mechanic) near Atlantic and flew down to meet with him. He told me this was his personal car which he converted for a fun daily driver. He told me that he built two more for friends. The guy who purchased it from him planned to tow it behind his motor home (like many Samurai’s). I had to ship it from California where he lives. I put on 10,000 miles and had fun blowing away a few unsuspecting cars at the light. The history records indicate two odometer problems, but these are due to the limits of the gauge so the mileage on the truck is valid. But the mileage on the motor since the conversion is much less.
