1999 E-350 Box Van 14' Box 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel You are looking at a 1999 Ford Powerstroke powered box van. This van was used by our shop for deliveries, shows etc. Those of you familiar with the early 7.3 diesel engines know these are the bullet proof engines that are highly regarded as the best Ford ever built. The cab is factory original and includes super cold A/C and has the cutout for acces to the rear box from inside the cab. The whole truck was painted black by our local Maaco. Not a perfect show truck (has some scuffs from tree branches etc.) but looks real good. Graphics are vinyl and can be easily removed. There is a slider door to seperate the box to hold heat or air up front. This van runs and drives super. Would not hesitate to drive this one across the country today! There was a factory recall on the cam/crank position sensor and was done by a authorized repair shop. It has American Eagle custom dually wheels. Need a good cleaning but in great shape. Tires are decent. What really sets this one apart other than the cost is the box. Hopefully the custom done box caught your attention. The box has 2 side windows installed up front with crank outs and screens. They are the emergency escape kind used in RV's. In addition there has been a RV side door with inside step added for easy access to the box. The walls and ceiling were insulated, lined with plywood and carpeted. The wall /ceiling carpet is a gray indoor/outdoor carpet and the floor in burgandy. The windows and doors are tight (no leaks). There are three 6' benches built in the back from 1" steel tubing. The two at the rear fold up against the wall if you need the room. The bench up front flips out to 4' wide. They were used when staying at shows overnight or running down the road. We just used air matresses on them (not included). It also has a heavy duty hitch that you can pull just about any trailer you might want to. This would make a perfect work van or use it for your weekend hunting/getaway trips. WHY SO CHEAP???? We recently purchased a 24' GMC TopKick and are finishing it up as a toy hauler and need the cash and room to get the new truck finished. Whats wrong with it? It does need a few small things addressed but nothing to keep you from putting a bunch more miles on it. It needs a new heater control switch. The old one broke so we bypassed it (see pics). It works fine just not pretty. The front sway bar needs new bushings as the old ones dry rotted and are squezzing out allowing the swaybar to rattle when you hit bumps. Lastly there is a small leak where the box meets the cab behind the drivers seat. It was caulked from the factory and just needs some new re-applied (easy fix). It is showing some small amount of surface rust below the doors on the rocker panels (no holes). As I stated earlier this is a super great running truck and you will be hard pressed to find one this nice this cheap! Email me with any questions and we will answer them as best we can.
