We have a 1972 GMC Suburban (carryall) that is complete bumper 2 bumper. This vehicle was driven home when purchased 3,5 years ago and I can't promise anything but with a little TLC this vehicle could possibly be driven while restoration plans were being laid. I was thinking a Duramax / Allison swap since it's a 3/4 ton. When it was driven home the air conditioner was blowing cold out the front an factory REAR air. This vehicle has several unique factory options, It has factory cruise, tachometer, front power bucket seats, front power disc brakes, tinted glass and a full floating rear diff. The two most common questions I have received so far concern the rear plywood floor and spare tire well. The wood looks brand new and the spare tire well has no rust. This vehicle is complete front 2 rear. It was originally purchased in Arlington, Tx and spent it's life in Olney, Tx. The odometer states 46k miles but certainly can't confirm that number. The vehicle is in olverall good shape considering it is 38 years old. Here are the two negatives I know of. 1. Slight cancer in passengers side door sill. Common problem in these year models. 2.
