Hello. You are bidding on a 1966 FORD FAIRLANE 500 DRAG CAR. The power plant consists of a 429, Big Block FORD V-8 engine coupled to an Automatic transmission. This clean, FAIRLANE drives and handles very well. There is no hesitation from the engine under power and when the brakes are applied firmly, the car stops in a straight line. There are no fluids leaking from either the engine or transmission. The car is finished in a Black color with Blue Flame. The high quality exterior finish is in good condition with the exemption of the passenger door that shows a minor scuff(see photo). All of the external lenses, chrome moldings and glass surfaces are present and intact without any cracks, pits or broken pieces. The lighting and electrical systems are in proper working order. The passenger cabin is in excellent condition. The black vinyl seats as well the carpets and headliner are in very good shape without any rips, tears or stains. The driver side window vent is missing the lock. The odometer currently reads 39 miles but due to the age of the vehicle and a 5 digit odometer Rpm Lenders is unable to verify the reading as actual or correct. The entire undercarriage is free of rust(see photos). Additional equipment consists of; Drag tires by MICKEY THOMPSON 26X7.50-15LT on the Front/P315/60R15 on the Rear with about 70% of thread life remaining mounted on HALIBRAND Wheels, Professionally installed Roll Cage, 4 Barrel HOLLEY CARB, Automatic Transmission Shifter by B&M Prostick.
