Vehicle Detail

PONTIAC COLLECTORS wanted or anyone wanting to own a piece of Pontiac history. Take a close look at this 40th Anniversary coupe. Also, this was the last year for the Grand Prix coupe with this body style. (I don't believe they made any coupes after 2002.) Please note the first 4 pictures are from 7/2008 showing car condition and mileage. The rest of the pictures are from 11/2010. (That was the day I became the proud owner of my second Grand Prix. A 1997 GTP coupe and this one) A few days after I bought this 40th Anniversary, I scheduled an appointment for a professional installation of dark tinted windows and remote start. This auto was used for special occasions, shopping trips or when other vehicles were being serviced. When I sold the 1997 GTP, in August 2006, this car became my daily work car getting about 30 miles a day added to the odometer. In 2008, I bought another car to use for work, so this 40th Anniversary became my pleasure ride only. That’s when I bought a custom, heavy duty car cover. Since I've had this auto, it’s never been smoked in and I didn’t find any evidence that the previous owner ever smoked in it either. I never drove this auto on any gravel roads other than my white rocked driveway. The tires were bought in 2008 and have about 5K on them. As we all know, in 2002, On Star worked from an analog signal which is no longer available. There’s no known fix or upgrade to vehicles supporting analog On Star on the older models. We are all now living in a "digital" world. Another end of an era has slipped away just like our beloved Pontiac. They will become an Icon of days gone by. Look closely at these pictures. I’m very proud of this auto and you will see I have taken very good care of it, as I do with all of my vehicles. All required maintenance has been done according to owners manual. I've never had any major mechanical problems, or body work done. I did replace both tail light assembly, and had to replace one headlight. I do not need to sell this auto but if someone meet my reserve, I will let it go. I've invested a lot of time keeping this car clean and maintaining it's condition. I'm sure I will suffer separation anxiety if this car sells but, I'll get over it as soon as I buy something else. (Currently looking at a Saleen or 5.0 Mustang. Consider it my mid-life crisis.) If this 40th Anniversary doesn’t sell, then I’ll keep it in storage as it will only appreciate in value over time.
