Power Steering

You are bidding on a very good running Jetta TDI,with a 5 speed manual transmission. It starts in this cold weather 20F,at one turn of the key,there is no evident smoke coming out of the tailpipe and almost no scent of diesel fuel,even with a cold engine.Tailpipe looks clean like on a gas engine,no soot and residue. It idles smooth,no shake,drives straight on the hwy,at 70mph the fuel economy is close to 40mpg,verified by myself...and it keeps very well with the traffic,with lots of torque. Clutch is good,smooth,suspension is quiet,tires are good,all four(see picture),brakes are good and quiet,parking brake works,all in all runs very well and tight. Cruise control works,it has a CD radio,functional and MANUAL crank windows...however it has factory keyless entry/remote that works fine. It has AC and it seems functional,will kick in. It comes with all the books,2 VW keys and 1 remote entry,trunk has the spare and jack,unused. Exterior looks nice,paint shines nice,it has some rust starting under the paint,blisters,see pictures,here and there,needs touched up.I did not find any rust thru and car looks overall very presentable and clean inside. No warning lights,smooth running diesel. Aside from the cosmetic rust,the other issue worth talking about,is a leak from one of the power steering lines,that drips when the engine is running.It looks to me like a hose clamp only,not a big deal,however it might need the power steering hose replaced( your local Autozone part # 92029, $ 72),for now,it will require adding power steering fluid on weekly basis. NO RESERVE. Car is part of the dealer inventory,and can be sold anytime,before the auction end.
