I purchased this nice southern 240z for parts but after I got it home and looked at it up close I would prefer it be restored then be parted out. It is a 1971 Datsun 240z that came from down south. the body is in nice shape and has very little rust. Underside looks very solid the drivers side floor at some point was replaced but not the frame rails they still look very solid. Exhaust and original fuel tank are missing and someone hooked up a plastic fuel tank where the spare tire is located. Carb.'s look original and were just rebuilt. Engine runs nice and shifts fine. Car is still equipped with the air pump, a/c unit which is rare, and original am/fm radio. The belts are missing and air pump is set up but everything is there and can easily be hooked back up. Break lines and fuel lines are new. Overall car would be very easy to restore. The title is missing however I made a few calls and some states only require a bill of sales also for the states that need a title there are several companies that can get the title for you without much trouble. The paint is the original color is the second 240z I had with this unique paint. During the day in the sunlight it appears to be light green. At night under florescent it turns a cool light yellow that appears to glow in the dark. Paint code is112 yellow 82040.
