This is probably one of the nicest 50 Oldsmobile cruisers you are likely to come across. It is a 47,000-mile (as reported by the previous owners) rust-free original car with an older cosmetic restoration that was performed by a Colorado Oldsmobile dealership for their show room. This car has logged fewer than 3000 miles in the last 25-30 years. I purchased it from the third owner and the history can be traced back to the original owner. By the time this sale takes place, I hope to have the original invoice. The paint luster is as shiny as when it was first applied and the chrome is beautiful. This is not a 100-point show car; it is a beautiful driver that is just right for proudly showing at local events and enjoying driving on the weekends. There are no dings; however there are minor chip touch-ups in the paint. As I said it is rust-free, as a matter of fact it does not even have surface rust on the underside, including the battery box! It is mechanically in excellent condition with a solid engine that does not burn oil, leak and has high oil pressure. The transmission shifts solidly and was recently re-sealed. Every gauge, and light works in the car. The only thing that is not functioning is the radio. The clock keeps perfect time with a quartz movement that is impossible to detect as you can see by the pictures. The dash and window surrounds have their original finishes and are in excellent condition. The only alterations from original are the clock as I mentioned earlier, a 12-volt electrical system and an alternator. This is just a real nice solid car.
