Vehicle Detail
This is an immaculate and authentic rare 2005 Boxer Cup. I bought the bike from Bob's BMW two years ago where it had been on display and for sale. I believe that I am the second owner, and the first owner maintained the bike at Bob's. During my ownership, the bike has been seen to at Bob's and has only had synthetic oil in the case. This example is very nearly stock with the following additions: carbon fiber rear single-sided hugger fender, Sargeant seat (I also have the original), S fairing mirrors (I may have the original handlebar mirrors), maintenance-free battery, bar risers (to above the triple clamp), dark smoke screen (I may have the OEM), and a throttle lock. Aside from those thoughtful additions, the bike is original with a Laser exhaust system, underbelly pan, carbon fiber everywhere, Olins suspension front and back--as the machines came from the factory. There is a very minor scuff on the front fairing nose which is very nearly imperceptible except by touching the area. Aside from that, this bike is one of the most pristine examples extant. It has, however, been ridden and has the usual wear. For example, at the leading edge of the belly pan, you will find the usual and ordinary wear from stones, etc. In the same way, the front of the primary case has some visible wear too. Also, all original Boxercups were produced without anti-lock brakes, and this is an original Boxercup. The bike presents in 2+ condition, where 1 is factory new. I will not consider trades, and I will not ship out of the country. I will deliver the bike to a local shipping point, and I am happy for you to view the bike in person by appointment--in fact, I encourage you to do so. Test rides may only be taken with a $10K deposit. You will not be disappointed. I have absolutely loved this bike, and I'm only selling it to feed my sailing habit (more time on the water and less on the road...). This bike is always the center of attention at any sport bike gathering. Happy bidding!
