up for bid is 63 falcon conv,260 2speed auto,body is very rough,floors are gone,has been dechromed and wheel wells cut out,do not have any of the side chrome,do have the hood piece and the 260 fender emblems but they are rough,the top mechanism seems to be all there and intact,pump motor runs but i didn't try to open the top 'cause i think it's holding the car together,rh door could be usable,has crease in door and lower frt fender,does have some filler in the fenders,windshield is not good,all side glass good,windows do work.stainless around the windshield and door windows nice,piece at rear of window on trunk is nice,other pieces are pitted,all chrome around windshield on inside is all there but rusty and pitted,seats are there but upholstery bad,seat frames should be ok to reupholster,dash has been hacked around radio,it's all intact under dash and all the knobs are there,steering column and shifter ok,now for the good news-motor runs sweet!power steering works,has hydraulic throttle kicker from p/s pump to kick idle up when turned to full lock,i have NEVER seen one before,has the rubber boot around the generator yet, 2speed auto has good rev. and forward, 8" rear diff,have no idea what gear ratio,drove out and into garage but that's all.has not had brakes in decades.all wiring under hood has not been hacked, all other wiring appears to be all ok,horns are still there,does not have original carb,do not have air cleaner,has full exhaust under car yet and quiet,washer bag is there and it still works with the old foot pump,has 4 13in wheels and hubcaps,gas tank appears to be usable,am running from a jug under hood.local pickup only
