up for sale is my 1987 oldsmobile 442. this is a very clean and original car. it has been well maintained over the years and has only 95,000 miles. the car is originally from Texas and then Kansas before coming to Michigan about 5 years ago. the transmission was completely rebuilt about a year ago, i have about $1200 invested in that. about 4 months ago i installed a new timing set and water pump with all necessary gaskets. this car runs great and has no major issues. the only things this car needs is a shifter handle, the black plastic base with retaining clip cracked and no longer remains on the shaft under its own power. the cruise control does not work on this car, i have not looked into this but it does not appear to be a fuse or wiring issue. the car has 15% tint on all windows including t-tops. the car is very solid inside and out, it is extremely clean and rust free underneath. all the door seals including trunk and t-tops are in good condition, i have no leaks to worry about. this is one of the nicest g-bodys around with low mileage and a desirable color combination. the paint on this car is driver quality, its black and shows scratches and its age, but it cleans up nice, refer to the pictures, this item, is sold as is. buyer is responsible for pickup.
