1991 Toyota MR2 turbo, 5 spd, cruise control, power windows/locks/mirrors. Rare steel-mist-gray paint and flip-up sunroof. 140,000 miles. The engine runs great but the car has a few other problems: the a/c doesn't work(the system was removed) and there are a few imperfections in the paint It has a couple of the basic mods but nothing fancy. It also comes with a set of studded snow tires on stock rims. No radio, but mp3 midi jack equipped. I listen to my ipod. After market speakers and amp sound amazing. Acceleration is perfect, no hesitation, turbo comes on quickly and smoothly. Stable on the interstate. Feel free to ask questions, I can also take more specific photos as well where desired. Recently I replaced the windshield, battery, timing belt (and tensioner), and the inner and outer tie-rods upfront. This car is running perfectly and has been checked over by a dealership mechanic. An alignment was just preformed and alternator and belt were replaced. I also added the race stripes and wheel lock set. This car really turns heads and everybody wants to race. This vehicle runs perfectly due to the most recent maintenance was completed. The title is clear and does not have a mechanical defect. The most power i have gotten out of the 2.2 turbo is approx. 260 hp @ 18 psi of boost. there is an adjustment control to raise or lower the boost. each pound of pressure is 10 horse power. so at 18 psi that is 130 horse above the normally aspirated models. All drivetrain work has been done by a mechanic and anything that I have done has been checked over by a mechanic. Some of the mods:short throw shifter-cold air intake-saab intercooler conversion-softer springs to raise the car and to make the ride better Recently the right rear strut cartridge started to go. small fix. they run about $50. Also the alternator seems to have bad diodes and drains the battery without daily use. needs to be replaced down the road. Just giving you all the facts. Thank you, -Peter.
