Up for auction is my 1991 Jetta Eco Diesel. I have owned this car for many years and just have too many cars now. I first bought this car around 2002. My sister used it for college. We later sold it and then bought it back about 6+ years ago. I will tell you what I know about it, please email me with any questions or for additional pictures. This car is the 1.6 and it does not have the sunroof. Ebay put the 1.9 and the sunroof info in my listing, this is out my control. The good stuff: Good Windshield Block heater Always starts, even after sitting all summer Runs strong, could be driven home Clear Title Fuel pump holds prime Fuel pump is the same as non-turbo models Tires are at about 60% wear Only rust is surface rust. New alternator belt Interior is in good shape for its age. could use a cleaning. This car has never been used to burn cooking oil or anything of the sort. Bad stuff: was hit by a pickup in a parking lot. This smashed the drivers side tail light out and bent the trunk lid. Light rust and some damage in this area. Will need sanded and repainted. Possibly trunk lid work. One turn signal bulb housing has broken mounting tabs. I have one and will include it if I can find it. The cabin fan is bad. I have a used replacement and will include it. Rattle in the front end, possible bad motor mount. drivers door trim and front bottom trim is off. I have these pieces and will include them. A/C does not work. Front shocks need replaced. I also have a Rabbit P/U I will sell as a parts car.
