Up for grabs is my 1991 Thunderbird Super Coupe. 3.8 V6 Supercharged engine, automatic overdrive transmission. I bought this car from the original owner in 2005, it had blown headgaskets at 165K miles. Cylinder heads were completely rebuilt, valve job, surfaced, new valve stems and guides and installed with new headbolts and Fel-pro gaskets. No problems after that. At the same time radiator was gone through, cleaned and boiled, new hoses, belts, water pump, Bosch platinum spark plugs, wires, oxygen censors, starter, electric fuel pump, motor mounts installed etc. ABS system was repaired, new accumulator, ABS relay and brake pressure switch were replaced. No brake issues after that. New power steering pump replaced recently. Recent new battery and alternator rebuilt 2 months ago. Have all the receipts for work done on this car. Odometer stopped at 184K miles about 6 months ago, right now the car has approximately 190K miles. Air conditioning needs to be recharged, it was working when I first got this car but now does not blow cold air anymore. California car, sold new at Burlingame Ford. Original owner did always meticulously maintain this SC. Complete history and paperwork with receipts since new. No rust anywhere. I hate to see this car go but I bought a new car and don't drive this SC that much any more and insurance for two cars is killing me.. Its time for someone else to have fun with it. Never smoked in this car. Bottom of the front seats has splits. Power seats, both sides, works perfectly. Dashpad is MINT, no cracks. Doorpanels very nice. Headliner is perfect. Folding backseat. Top of the back seat stitching starting to come apart. Carpet is really nice, no rips, tears or stains. Factory front floor mats. Engine has developed a slight water leak, you need to top of the radiator every 3 days, I believe its the water pump. Does not run hot. Paint still looks fairly good and shiny. Clearcoat starting to fade on the roof just above the windshield. Driver's automatic seat belt jammed. Passenger side works fine. Moonroof works perfectly. Original spare, jack and lug wrench. Current California registration until February 2011. Always passed CA smog test. Car was hit in the rear by a lady who was texting. Trunklid took most of the hit, her Infiniti SUV was high enough so it went above the bumper. Luckily no frame damage. Insurance company said that cost of repairs exceeds the value of this car. Thats why it's got a salvage title. Have pictures of the damage if needed. I got it repaired, basically just changed the trunk lid, tail lights and rear bumper cover.
