UP FOR SALE is a unusual opportunity to acquire a converted vegatable oil burning diesel MERCEDES . it is kind of cool to be able to drive the most desired luxury car tht burns $1.00 a gallon fuel!!! you will have less fuel costs with this one than a toyota prius!! example: at approx 25 mpg you can drive 1000miles for about $40 in fuel costs!!!!! fuel costs will vary,the customers who traded in this benz ,traded it in on a new cadillac,they reported they bought their fuel in bulk for about $1.00 per gallon . the cars get the same fuel economy on veggie as they do on diesel.the conversion system on this mercedes is by GREASECAR VEGETABLE FUEL SYSTEMS. the system even intrigues me,if you have connections you can virtully get the used oil FREE at various restaurants.business's around the country.(as they have to PAY to have someone haul it out of thie premisis)otherwise there are recycle buisness's that sell it either in bulk or by the tank full.--the info on the converted mercedes is as follows:--it is a VERY nice car and don't think for a minute that you can only run veggie oil in this luxury ride,as it runs on diesel at a flip of a switch.there are 2 separate fuel tanks ;one for diesel,one for veggie oil.this car only has 147,250 miles on it and i can tell you it drives and runs like it has 30,000 miles on it.( these diesels are still running fine at more than 500,000 miles)the front end is like new; everything works....i.e. sunroof ,air conditioning electric windows,power seats,etc,etc the E CLASS mercedes is not a cheap model price range car in the least.it was very expensive to say the least when new.the paint being a southern car is excellant; there is one scuff(pictured) on the r front bumper cover.this could be easily repainted by a painter for less than $100,but it is really not bad enough to even bother with.other than that the body is real nice comparable to say a 2-3 year old car that has been take care of.i took pictures showing the sides at an angle to show up the relatively dent/ding free doors most cars suffer after a few years.the seats are also like new as well as the carpet.the caliber of person owning such a car from new; usually has them professionally detailed every few weeks and it shows.i took pictures of under the hood showing how pristine it looks, as well as the diverter veggie oil pump.even the under hood insulaion pad looks as new.i also took the liberty of photographing the door jam and all original stickers under the hood ,it looks like a new one--NO RUST in this car! a person from the snow belt would be wise spending a couple hunderd$ to fly to get this car--as northern cars usually need as much paint and body work to them as this whole car will sell for--i can't put a warrenty on this due to it's age but i can tell you it runs really nice.i did not try to run it on the veggie oil as the owner said he had not run it on veggie oil for the last year so he said it would be a good idea to clean the lines out before operating it on veggie oil. i also took photos of the "in trunk" filling tube and actual veggie fuel level guage,and its damage proof cover of the guage.--this is a unuual opportunity i was even tempted to buy it myself,it is SO INTERESTING.
