For sale is a 1973 BMW 2002. It has been my daily driver for 7 years, been garaged every day and has been an awesome car. There has been a lot done to this car over the years. Have receipts: Some details: New Suspension Techniques springs front and rear (front only installed, have not refurbished the rear but the rears come with) summer 2010 Replaced strut housings (bought used, rust proofed and painted) and strut inserts (new) summer 2010 New tires summer 2010 Tie rod ends summer 2010 Front brake hoses and replaced pads summer 2010 Transmission mount summer 2010 Radiator cleaned and inspected professionally (checked out excellent) in 2009 Rebuilt head with port matched intake purchased and installed 2008 Oil pump new 2008 Timing chain and guide new 2008 Upper strut bearings 2007 Pertronix electronic ignition installed 2005 Weber 32/36 Carburator with Electric choke new in 2005 Centerlink, tierods, bal joints and all front bushings 2005 Rear Shocks 2005 Clutch Master Cylinder 2005 Rebuilt Calipers purchased and installed 2005 Pertronix Electronic Ignition 2005 Alternator new 2004 Starter new 2004 And a lot of "this and that" done to the car over the years What it needs: Will need piston rings eventually. Some smoke on deceleration Driver side frame rail needs to be replaced under the driver side floor pan. Rust free frame rail comes with the car. Quoted $400 to replace, $700 for rail and floor pan (some rust around padal box) Both fenders need replaced. 2 rust free fenders come with the car. The previous owner had the car painted in late 80's. He replaced the front fenders with aftermarket and both rusted in the same spot (see pics). The rear suspension needs bushings refreshed (hadn't got to that yet). Bushings, rear springs and blasted/primered trailing arms come with the car. Right side of trunk floor needs repaired along the right side of the gas tank surround area. This is a great car and runs strong. Suspension feels great when cornering. Transmission and brakes feel good. It will require some body work, the price reflects that but you are also getting a ton of great parts with the car. I will not sell the parts separately.
