Here we have a decent truck for it's age, it is a 1950 ford, original V8 truck 3 speed manual transmission. there is no motor or trans with the truck. (look at my other auction for the 239 flat head v8 engine with manual trans.that is original to this truck) Lets start with the cab, there is some rust in the floors and the back cab corners, the truck was stripped down to bare metal and never was primed, it was put in a shed with no primer, the surface rust is heavy but not pitted. The doors have already been stripped and primed, the doors are solid. The front fenders both upper and lowers have been reworked and primed, the front grille assemble has been stripped, the hood has been partically stripped. One rear fender has been stripped and primed. There has nothing been done to the frame or suspension, except the front springs and axle has been removed, i strapped the axle back to the frame to make it a roller again. I have all of the stainless for the hood, as far as i know i have all the parts for the truck. I do not have the windshield, i do have the original back glass a a door glass for patterns ( all flat glass) this truck would make a excellent rat rod. I even have the original flathead v8 239 engine for this truck in another auction, if you wanted to run a flat head engine. I do not have a title for this truck, will supply a bill of sale. I have 4 tailgates that you can pick one from, all 4 tailgates will need some type of work. The running boards are rough. The cab is just sitting on the frame, the bed is still bolted down. I have the original seat and gas tank with a opition took box that mounts on top of the gas tank. The hold truck has been disassembly for a complete rebuild, as far as i know i have all the parts in boxes. THe only thing that is not included with this auciton is the motor and transmission.This truck would make a nice truck restored or street rod or a rat rod.
