Vehicle Detail

This is a project of mine that I have decided to sell because i just have to many things going right now. This car was purchased by a friend of mine off ebay a few years back and i bought it from him. It was still stored in his shop till about 2 weeks ago and he needed it moved. The bad thing is I do not have the room for the car and I don't want it to remain outside during the winter months so I decided to sell it. I hope this gives someone else a good opportunity to have a project to restore. I have a clear Illinois title with the car and the original window sticker. The car is overall a decent car and is good shape to have came from Illinois. At some point or the other the car was in front end collision and as best I can tell that is when the front sheet metal was changed from another car as it has more rust tham the rest of the car. Also looks as the front inner fenders have been replaced along with the core support at that time. Looks like the front rails were side swayed over at that point and pulled back as both the fronts have tares that were never welded back. The front fenders if it were me I would replace, but as with anything its all in how much work you want or can do. The hood has rust issues to the inner structure that will need repaired and looks to came off another sassy grass green car. The top also has some damage to the LH front and the insert is present, but someone has added studs to it by drilling holes in the top and putting the studs in then filling the holes. Both doors seem to be nice and solid. I can not open the passenger side for some reason, but i have not messed with it but i see no rust on the bottom. The drivers door does have a small spot on the rear of the door , but the lower seem looks nice. The top of the car looks pretty nice for a vinyl top car, and the top has been removed. Car looks to have some rust at the bottom of the windshield on the cowl. The floors in the car are overall solid as is the truck pan. The drivers pan will need to be replaced or patched, but the others are solid with surface rust. The under seat pan is mostly solid with a place on the RH and LH side bubbling up close to the wheel house. The frame rails overall appear solid. I did see a place on the passenger side rail where the brake line bracket welds on that has a small hole. The ends of the torsion bar mount will need replaced and repair, but the center looks good as well as where the bars go in. The rear frame rails look solid as well as the spring mounts. The trunk lid will need replaced as it is rusty on the inside. Some swelling on the Lh side of the trunk gutter. The car does have lower rust on both quarter panels and will at least need lower front and rear patch panels possible quarters. Also will need atleast outer wheel houses and some repairs. The car has had a real fast no good paint job some time in the past. The paint inside the trunk and floors appears to be original. The vin on the cars dash is WM23N1G162491 and matches the one on the drivers door sticker and the one on the title as well as the window sticker. Car does not have the fender tag as i would guess it was lost when the inner fenders were replaced. As I could just find a few small pieces of the build sheet under the rear seat that the mice did not eat, but it is possible there may be another one in the car as I have not had it apart. Looks to be overall an original car as it looks to still have the original exhaust still under it. I am sure it has not been on the road in several years. Has the correct 70-early 71 style buckets with the pot metal hinge covers. It is a console shift 727 automatic and still has the console , slap stick shifter , and the auto z-bar the works the linkage. The intior black panels are nice for original pieces the upper vinyl ones I do not see any rips in and they are all there. Has the rallye gauges in the car with N85 factory tachometer. The info on the window sticker is the dealer it came from is Cassens and sons INC. in Edwarsville, ILL. C6X9 black vinyl bucket seats, A01 Light group with map, courtsey lamp, glove box,ash tray, trunk lid, and ignition light with time delay with Headlamp buzzer. B41 front disc brakes,B51power brakes, C16 console, D34 727 torqueflite, D91 suregrip rear, but I think it has been repaced at some point with a open rear. E65 383 4-bbl,G15 inted windshield,G33 remote left mirror,H41 forced upper level ventalation,J45 hood tie downs,J52 T/P hood release, J55 undercoating and hood pad,L31 fender mount turn signals,N42 exhaust bright tips,N85 tachometer,R11 solid state AM radio,S77 power steering,V1X vinyl roof,V6X tape accent stripes,W11 deleuxe wheel covers, Y14 sold car,T93 G70x14 raised white letter tires. This car was a high car new with a window sticker of $4445.10. I have taken several pictures of the car and I can email them to you. I am also going to try to put them on a photo bucket link as well. Please look at them to help describe the car for you as I have tried to give a good honest desription. It is sold as is where is and will have to be picked up or the buyer will have to arrange pick up of the car. I will help in any way that I can and will try to answer any and all question about the car. It will come with other parts pictured a 69 383 block, a steel crank that was ready to go , but the lower journals have some surface rust on it. A 727 auto trans core, driveshaft, rods with pistons, motor mounts and cross member, and other bolts and parts. All of these parts are pictured and will be inside the trunk. The car is what it is a fairly complete project car with rust issues, but not as bad as some other cars. The super bee left the Coronet line and was changed to the Charger line for the 71 year and is a low production car. I also believe it is a car worth restoring as they are not making any more of these car. A non refundable deposit of $250.00 will need to be paid within 24 hours and the balance paid with in 7 days of auction end. I can store the car for a while on my property if neeeded for a while. Please ask all questions before you bid and if you have question on any other details please ask. Payment will need to be paypal or other pre-approved method. Also cash work if you are going to pick it up in person. This is a 39 year old car that will need restored and rebuilt. There is no warranty with the car in anyway. Will come as pictured with the rallye wheels.I have several other pictures of this car and i can email them to you if you want just send me a question with you email address. Thanks for looking!
