Vehicle Detail
I hate to see it go, but a recent purchase of a vintage racer forcing sale of my supercharged 4cyl Milano. I think it's an extremely good deal for the right person. The car is a daily driver; it runs and drives about perfectly, no issues. This car does not have A.C. It started as a 1988 Verde. It has the full Verde suspension, body kit, dash, etc. It has been converted to conventional brakes. The sell will include the original Verde wheels. Engine: Supercharged, Intercooled, Water Injected 2.0 Nord 4cyl. It has JE 8.5:1 pistons, and SDS fuel injection with crank fire ignition and coil packs. No distributor. It's in great shape. All work was done by Greg Gordon of Hiperformance including a recent valve job because a cam lobe went flat. The engine runs well, doesn't smoke, starts right up, and has great power. It's never been on a dyno, but I think it's around 200hp. It could be A LOT more. It has Stage 5 fuel injectors, a big intercooler, and a dashboard programmable water (or water/meth) injection system. It has pretty much everything it needs to bump up to about 275hp. If you wanted to go that route, I would suggest a free flowing exhaust, bigger throttle body, and a pulley swap. The transaxle is the original Milano Verde transaxle with 3.55:1 gears. It does have a low first and second gear out of a GTV6. The idea was to give good stoplight grand prix action combined with good fuel economy on the highway. Although the gears are widely spaced (just like in a GTV6) the engine has enough power you really don't notice. The car gets 32-33mpg on the highway at 75-80mph! It can squeak up to 35mpg at lower speeds. It does all this on 87 Octane regular gasoline. The body is straight and has no rust. The paint is original, and it's shot (nothing Maacco cannot fix). I will describe the interior as fair. It's usable, the front seats are intact and the upholstery is OK, but it won't win any shows. This car could make a great track car. It's very nimble because of the light front end. P.S. if you are considering this for the engine to swap into something else it should be a straight swap into any Alfetta based car. For a swap into a Spider it would need a Spider oil pan, and I am not too sure about the block. I don't know if the Spider block is the same. (Motor mounts points etc.) Car currently in Tulsa OK but can be delivered to the Dallas TX metroplex as well Good luck Biding – and please watch the clips below for a better understanding of what this car is all about – way faster than a stock Verde!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9NoqOupRDM&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9w6yG4QD_4&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fr_E5cv7Uhc&feature=player_embedded
