You are bidding on a 1957 Mercury Montclair as a survivor of the state of California in good conditions ,rust-free, everything is orginal except the a/c Perfect lines, original interior, runs and drives excelent. The transmission is automatic, and the shifting actions from buttons (and runs smooth).When you drive this car you experience a flashback to the 1950s. The motor(312 5.2litr) is rebuilt with original part and the body as well. This vehicle was a limited edition from 1957 of Lincoln Mercury. You can note that because this car has double headlights while the others only had one in 57. Also it is equipped with a power booster (fan clutch) and with a water pump that functions with heat to a copper pin which is very rare. The exterior is painted white,brazilian bronze, and peach. The interior is a mix of dark black and a grayish green.The car is equipped with an A/C that is not original from the car. For that i needed to add an alternator. The heater i have in perfect conditions and can be added to the car as well and its the orignal one. I also have the wipers and motors, i just havn't added them because the windshield is broken. I also added two mufflers just like the originals. The trunck is in good conditions except its not carpeted. The fuel pump is new but its the one that belongs to the car. (In reality all the fixes i have done to this car i did trying not to alter the orginal design always using original parts) I have as well the original radio antenna and it works great.
