Into California six years ago from Idaho I drove home my Ford, brakes and original front end done in Idaho, continue to make this a smooth driver. The original flathead six engine didn't make it into state, blew up, so replaced with "smoking" 350 Chevy engine and 350 AT excellent motor, all the right parts -- Edelbrock carb, electronic dist., performs great), cooling system. Frame on restoration, all that Idaho mud and crud removed. New oak bed on restored 7' original Ford stake bed frame... this is an original half ton F-1 stake-bed.An old metal trunk on stake-bed goes with it. Custom diamond plate battery box and tool box grace running board area below stake bed. Bodacious interior was left, done in Idaho..... a real show stopper. New custom wheels that match tires with less than 1000 miles. All new wiring, gauges, heater, and tinted/shaded custom windshield. Very nice truck with original paint on outside of cab (front clip was painted when interior was redone some years back so there's a little difference in paint but you see the original cab, no Bondo). This very nice almost original truck can be used from the gitgo or can move forward with more work to make it perfect, if that's your game. Has original side rails and custom front/back small rails.
