Vehicle Detail

A NO RESERVE AUCTION. Up for sale is my 1969 Ford F-100. This is a long bed truck that has a 360 big block ford. Also is backed up with a 4sp on the floor manual transmission. I put in the 4spd trans and got rid of the 3 spd on the tree. I have owned this truck since May of 2005. I am selling it so I can finish restoring my falcon. My intentions were to restore the truck also, but just don’t have the time to do both. So I am letting one of my toys go. Over the last five years, I have done some small things to the truck and motor. I have replaced the cam in the truck with a Comp Cam, with a .494 inch lift and a 268 duration. Changed the valve springs in the heads to except the cam. Also put a Holley 750 4bbl carb on. I removed the old 2bbl and manifold. I put a 4bbl cast iron manifold on that came off of a 390 that I had. I have put a set of dyno max headers. They flow down to 2 ½ inch exhaust tubing and into a set of 40 series flow masters. The exhaust exits out in front of the rear tires. I replace the 3.00 gears in the rear with a set of 3.50 gears. The rear doesn’t have a posi trac. I just never got around to doing it. I have put new front and rear bumpers on, that I bought out of LMC Truck catalog.I have also put an MSD ignition system with a 6A box and replaced points in the distributor with a petronix point delete kit. I have reupholstered the seat in red and white. Also had the sun visors and head liner redone too. The front cab mounts and floor pans have been replace on both driver and passenger side. This is the most common place on these old trucks that rot out. The paint on the truck is not perfect at all. We are talking about a truck that is over 40 years old. I have replaced the front shocks and springs. When I got the truck it had a broken coil spring on the passenger side. So I replaced both while I was at it. I had to replace the king pin on the I-Beams because they were worn out on both left and right side. I put the tach and gauges in to keep an eye on engine conditions. I believe the truck needs a wheel cylinder in the front. I drove it a week ago and when you press on the brakes the truck pulls to the right slightly and the pedal is a little soft. One of them may be stuck just from sitting and not being used often. I checked and there is no brake fluid leaking anywhere. If you have to replace the wheel cylinder they are $69.95 each in LMC Truck Catalog. I did replace the front brake lines when I got the truck because they were dry rotted. The truck is in over all good condition. I wanted to restore it but just can’t. I hope that whoever wins the bid has interest in restoring this truck. The truck is sold as is and has no warranty. The buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up or shipping. Transaction must be paid in full within 7 days of auction end to winning bidder. Truck has a clear VA title. If you have any questions feel free to call me Tony at 434-547-6615. Happy Bidding and good luck.
