1973 Satellite. I was in the process of cloning - ended up purchasing a real Roadrunner. This is a two owner car. I was told when I purchased a few months back that it was locally owned by a school teacher which passed it down to her nephew. Car sat for a loooong time before being discovered and brought back to life (see low miles). 318, slapstick auto , cold A/C, p/s, p/b and new dual exhaust. Restoration was started and will need completion while driving and enjoying if you wish to do so - runs and drives great, no issues that I am aware of (could use alignment and fan motor blows constant (switch?)). I drove it 60 miles home when I purchased. I have picture of car before primer and in various stages. Body is straight - I have found one small dent with filler above rear pass. wheel well. All Satellite trim was removed and all trim holes welded closed. Drivers rear lower quarter patches done as well (very small patches, done professionally) , rear lower passenger will need done at some point (also very small). Will need full trunk pan at some point (window leak, since fixed), trunk currently has sheet metal patch. Will need (if desired) front lower valance and header panel due to excessive rust (my opinion). Also small rusted areas in door jambs (hinge area) need patches eventually. Other small rust issues here and there - nothing major. Nice Roadrunner hood. Interior is in fair to great shape as pictures show - front buckets each have small tears on seats only, rear seat is beautiful. All hard plastic trim/panels are starting to show their age (dry rot), but will do while searching for replacements. Rally dash was cut by some clown back in the day for stereo. Dashpad has cracks. Headliner has one tear. Steering wheel is not original (I stole the Grant wheel !) I have an 8 3/4 axle for the car, 3.23 , non Sure Grip complete with brakes (no drums) available separate or goes with the car if sold at "buy it now" price. I primered in the flat black to make it presentable , but have nothing to hide. Under the primer(s) is original paint and I was planning to take her to bare metal to see what I had, but no need now. Easy resto. Car is for sale elsewhere as well as taking to Mopar show this weekend - need it gone to start my other project!
