1982 Triumph Bonneville Royal Wedding Edition. One of approximately fifty that were imported into the US. 17415 original miles. Runs and drives perfectly, starts by electric or kick hot or cold and runs perfectly. Everything works. I just returned from a trip from the Blue Ridge Mountains where the bike developed small oil leak from the countershaft sprocket, the only remaining original seal on the bike. No leaks otherwise. My wife says were are done riding after an event that occured on another bike while we were in the mountains. This bike underwent a frame up restoration in 1994 to return it to its original lustre. The frame was powdercoated black and all fasteners were upgraded to polished stainless steel. The top end was also freshened up with all the necessary new parts, it had 13069 miles on it at the time. I removed and resealed the top end again earlier this year to address the typical leaking pushrod tubes, replaced the clutch to eliminate slippage and replaced the complete exhaust system. It had loud mufflers on it that I didn't like so I put new original type back on. The Bing carbs have been upgraded with all the appropriate jetting and slides from Bing International. I have owned it for 3.5 years and I know both previous owners. I was there when it was purchased new. I guess you could says its been in the family since the beginning. This is a no reserve auction.
