Up for NO RESERVE is this near mint all original 1987 Toyota 4-runner with a removable hard top. A California survivor since new, she is of course 100% rust free. The odometer reads 153,920, however since it was towed behind an RV is most likely has a lot less on the actual drive train. It looks, runs, and drives like it has 50,000 miles. She shows very little usage and looks amazing for being almost 25 years old. The engine starts right up and sounds great! There are no leaks, or strange noises. It runs extremely well and drive like new. The clutch is superb and the transmission shifts beautifully through all the gears smoothly and effortlessly. The 4 wheel drive engages properly. The entire drive train and handling is fantastic. The brakes, steering, and suspension are all in tip top shape. All mechanical, electrical, and climate control systems work like they should. The air conditioning works great! Cosmetically the truck is in outstanding original condition. The body, chassis, and frame, are all 100% rust free. The paint is original so it is obviously not as shiny as it was when it was new. There are of course some minor dings, etc, but there is nothing to loose sleep over. All of the chrome shines like new. The wheels and tires are in excellent condition. The tires have approximately 50% tread remaining. Everything is clean and crisp. This is one of the most honest looking and original Toyota's we have ever seen. The interior is stunning, and shows virtually no wear. The dash does not have a single crack, the carpet and headliner looks amazing. Overall this classic 4 runner is a gem. Toothbrush clean engine compartment. All hoses, belts, and accessories are all up to par. Original front and rear "Blue and yellow" license plates verify the Toyota's registration history in California since new.It would be hard to believe if there was a nicer one available.
