Vehicle Detail
Here is an excellent representation of a 1977 porsche 911S. The s was a rare model as the price of the base model was 9950.00 and an s model in 1977 was 14395.00 This car runs very well, and has a very extensive service history performed by Pro Technik in Houston texas. The Car is 99 percent rust free. All the body panels fit very well and lineup all around the car showing it has not had any serious damge history. I have taken some good pictures of the car for your review. The paint is not perfect but looks really great. There are a few spots that i have taken some picture of. If your very meticulous they would be easily repaired. There is one major scratch on the roof of the car where it appears someone tossed something accross and it has left a sizeable scratch. The interior is really nice. The car has some very nice deep bucket seats that hold you in place very well upon cornering. The ac was recently serviced and blows nice and cold. A couple of the vents are broken and a little loose but easily replaceable. All the door jams show very well and do not appear to have had accident damage. I also have pictures of the door mounts and the hood mounts showing they are original. The wheels are fuchs that have been polished and look great. There is a nice whale tail on the back too. All the seats, front and back look really great. The floor boards look amazing for a car of this age too. All the windows work, and so does the power antennae. The radio is an old Yamaha and works well. Mechanically the car runs like a top it does not blow smoke and the transmission shifts very well and theclutch feels good too and does not slip in the slightest and engages as it should. There is a very slight oil leak but i am told that is common on the magnesium cases because they are pourus. but it is only slight. Like if i leave it sitting after driving it, it will leave a small quarter or silver dollar spot after a week to ten days and thats about it, it doesnt contiue leaking. I am told that is seapage. there has been extensive work performed on this car and the leak has been addressed as the repairs were done. which i will be glad to send all the invoices for your inspection as they are quite extensive over the last ten years. It is only a two owner car so the car has been documented and maintained good records. It runs so well i have been driving it to and from work for over a month. It was left at Pro technik because the customer was having some serious financial difficulties and he could not afford to pick it up. This would make a great driver or collector car , or a really great track car as well. If you want a neat classic car that makes a great driver than this is the one. It is very dependable and easily maintained as it is the air cooled 2.7 that anybody can work on. That is why these old 911 are so popular. All pre purchase inspections are welcomed as i believe it will hold up very well to scrutiny as i have described it. Good luck and take care!!
