I've listed this car twice so far, the first time my reserve was too high (my fault) the second time some guy with zero feedback bid on it at the last minute then decided he couldn't come and pick it up (thanks allot!) This is the third and hopefully last time I will be listing it for sale. BEFORE YOU BID VIEW ALL OF THE PICTURES AND READ EVERYTHING BELOW!!! This 87 Firebird is as close to new as you're likely to find. If you are a serious collector and are looking for an 80's Firebird then this is probably a once in a lifetime chance... This car was purchased by myself new off the lot in Feb 88 and has been kept in a climate controlled garage for the past 23 years. I am the original and only owner of this car.. I've posted a photo of the original sales receipt in the photos... Everything on this car (aside from the battery) is 100% original (even the floor mats are original) The last inspection this car has was in 98 and that was the last time I drove it on the open road, Ive taken very good care of it and It has only been driven around the neighborhood since and is in perfect running condition. This car sounds and drives as perfectly smooth as it did when I drove it off the lot 23 years ago. Aside from a few minor gravel chips and scratches (shown in the imperfections photo) the exterior and interior are both in perfect condition. There is NO rust on this car. No one has EVER smoked in this car. This car has NEVER had any body work done to it. This car has NEVER been repainted or had any paint "touch ups" The only problem, aside from the minor cosmetic imperfections shown in the photo, is that the air pistons that hold up the back hatch have lost their pressure over the years and are no longer able to hold it open. The tires on the car are also original, they are in amazingly great shape for tires that are 23 years old! although I would not recommend you buy this car and expect to drive it back to Alaska without replacing them. The Air Conditioner on the car was recharged this spring and is in perfect working condition. The buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping. I am located just outside of Chapmanville, WV.
