Vehicle Detail
1970 Plymouth GT This is our 1970 Plymouth GTX True Factory 6pac car. Yes this is a V code GTX. As the other cars listed in the last few weeks, I have owned this car for a long time and really hate to part with it for the fact that I am sure I will never have the chance to replace the car. The original engine/transmission are long gone. The car is in my opinion rough but VERY savable. Take a good look at the pictures and you will see what I mean. The car is missing the fender tag but all the numbers that I have found on the body (fire wall, rad. support, ect.)match the VIN number on the dash. Now before the EXPERTS comment I am very aware they did not put A/C on 6pac cars and this is no different. The A/C was added and at a close look it is easy to see. With the car you will get a FULL floor pan as well as a complete trunk pan. You may not want to use the full floor pan as the floors are not that bad. I thought the car deserved to be done right so I bought the full pan. As for the frame on the car is concerned, it is in very good condition with a couple of spots. On the passenger side there is a dime and a half dollar size spot and that is all I saw. Tortion bar areas are good. The AIR GRABBER HOOD is in GREAT condition. The front fenders are ok however I have another pair of 70 fenders if you like. The doors are good but the quarters are shot and the trunk lid should be changed. I also have one of those if you need. With the extra parts, I basically have a complete low rust car minus quarters and drive train. Needless to say this car is not for the weak at heart. It will take a lot of time, work and money to be right. With that said I would think the car, if done correct, would be worth every dime and then some and would arguably be as valuable or more than a Hemi car. I know I will forget a couple of things so here is a run down of what you get with the car: 1-left front fender good condition. 1-right front fender good condition. 1-trunk lid good shape. 1-NEW complete floor pan. 1-2 piece trunk pan Again take a close look at the pictures they pretty much tell the story as with my other auctions this is a NO RESERVE auction. The reason for selling is simple I will be moving in a couple of months and wqill not have room for all the cars I own. This is a very RARE chance to buy this type of car anywhere and then with a NO RESERVE auction, well you folks that look for these cars know what I am saying. I also have to mention my favorite person of the week that retracted his bid on my auction and then tried to bid the last minute becuase he knew what the highest bid was (allaboutaloot) well as I said in my email to you I Have NOBODY bidding on my cars and my record on ebay proves it. These cars are ONLY worth what two people are willing to pay. If I didn't want to sell the cars I would not have listed them. With thousands of people looking on ebay I have always found your car will do just fine if you are honest with the description. Now for the best part. This is a NO RESERVE auction (I think I know what the car is worth) So please do not ask to end the auction early. I also DO NOT OFFER SECOND CHANCE SALES. If you are not the high bidder do not email me wanting to buy the car. So needless to say the high bidder wins the auction. I need a 25% deposit no later than 3 days after the auctions end with the balance due within 7 days. ALL vehicles are being sold AS IS WHERE IS. You (the buyer) are responsible for ALL transportation fees. I have worked with many transport companies and can help arrange shipping for you.
