Up for sale is a 1989 Ford Mustang GT convertible, 25th anniversary, in good condition. Has a straight body, tight running 5.0 engine, and smooth shifting transmission. Interior is in great shape, with the exception of the ash tray lid (these cars are notorious for this part breaking) is off but is in glove box. The car is original, unmolested, with the exception of an adjustable clutch cable and UPR aluminum quadrant. The car has the following new parts: Alternator Drivers door window switch assembly Power mirror switch Door lock actuator Air filter Ignition wires Spark plugs Distributor cap Rotor Transmission fluid flush and fill Brakes Issues: Door moldings are off the car, but included in the sale, just need to be put back on The top has a repaired tear in the passenger side. Tear was repaired right after it happened so that no moisture could get in. The top is showing its age, but does not leak. The top goes up and down properly. Qualities: The motor idles and runs great. The transmission shifts great and the clutch has plenty of life left. Red cloth interior is in great condition, and is complete. Body is in good shape. Paint is decent with only minor flaws. Tires have plenty of tread left. Car drives down the road straight and the steering is nice and tight, no play. Due to my wife's job we must move quite a distance and therefore we no longer have space for leisure vehicles. I am very sad to have to sell, but my loss is your gain. The car is a nice car, not flawless, but good for it's age. Car sold as-is where-is, no warranty expressed or implied. $1,000 Deposit due within 24 hours of end of auction. According to autocheck it must be 160k, but the car is just like it has 60k miles. Sorry for any inconvenience. Don't let that mileage scare you, it's still low miles for a car of this age and in great shape if it has that many miles.
