1969 Honda CB

This is an unmolested, all-original bike. No leaks, no dents, no damage. Starts instantly and runs great. Lights and blinkers all work great. Needs nothing. It has been extremely reliable but remember, it is 41 years old however, and could use some polishing, but I haven't seen a better bike on ebay in many years. This bike would take you anywhere without worry. She could even be a daily driver! About $4500 in parts and labor have been invested in her, but a recent lay-off has forced her sale. I hate to see her go, but my loss is your gain. Please email me with any questions you may have. This little baby has a powdercoated frame, new paint, cleaned and professionally sealed gas tank, new tubes and tires, new sprockets and chain, new points, new battery, new cables, new bulbs, new petcock, new diaphragms, new jets, and OEM air cleaners. The cam chain broke last month so while it was apart, the head was machined by Revtech with new valves, seals and springs along with a very expensive valve job. The cam chain had been upgraded along with Cappellini gears and bearings instead of the old rubber rollers. They were ordered from Italy. Revtech also bored and honed the cylinders .50 and installed new pistons and rings. New oil seals have been replaced throughout the engine and everything had been thouroughly checked on everything. Compression is over 160lbs in each cylinder and runs perfectly. The seat foam could be replaced, but the seat cover is original 1969 and has not been touched. I bet you don't want to end up with someone's idea of a barn-find which hasn't run in 30 years. This bike has been gone through from end to end. YOU will not be unhappy. You know, all those seals that were replaced in the engine were 41 years old. Think about crusty and hardened rubber oil seals that are 41 years old on other bikes which have been sitting outside somewhere. Oil leaks are never fun. Whoever buys this bike is getting peace of mind in knowing that all critical internals are less than 2 months old, not over 40 years old. I just bought a new battery as the old one was a few years old and was beginning to weaken. All you have to do to this bike is some chrome polishing and maybe a coat of wax.
