You are bidding on a 1958 restored BMW Isetta 300 US Spec export sliding window model. This Isetta received a frame off restoration by IsettasRus for his customer to their specifications. The Standox German Pale Yellow paint was applied to the exterior, interior and the underside of the body shell. The interior received a textured tan colored card board panel set with an embossed tan vinyl seat cover and matching map pocket. A matching set of shifter and steering boots were constructed from a period correct BMW accessory kit. A Green transparent optional driver side visor as well the oval slotted beauty rings with the matching BMW embossed hubcaps were installed next to the period correct bias ply vintage BF Goodrich 480 x 10 White wall tires. The Black needle point sunroof material was chosen for this Isetta to enhanced the exterior color of the car. Many OEM parts were used throughout this restoration like ATE master cylinder and wheel cylinders. Correctly rated shock absorbers, all New silent bloc bushings, cables, hardware etc are just few details that went into this restoration. The ignition system received new breaker points N.o.S Bosch ignition coil, NOS Bosch voltage regulator, SWF NOS wiper arm/blade down to the Hella front turn signal lenses and ALBERT outside mirror etc. The Isetta engine/transmission/Chaincase and all other mechanical drive units are completely rebuilt back to factory condition. Installed NEW Goetze drive couplers with fresh bolts and nylon lock nuts, changed all the fluids and test drove the car without any issues.
