I am selling my 1980 Triumph Spitfire 1500. it was a running car with a slight engine knock when i got it and was complete for the most part. i sold the original engine and transmission. I installed a 2.5 4 cyl from a 1984 s10 with a borg warner 5 spd trans. the install is incomplete.the engine is in and motor mounts have been fabricated. the trans is just resting on the cross member and i don't have a proper drive-shaft. there is a drive shaft and it has the slip-yolk for the borg warner. It has coil over shocks in the rear to help with the sagging that typically happens when these cars get old. the engine starts and runs. it is fuel injected and the computer and harness are all there. I am selling it with 2 chrome bumpers from an older model. i bought these because i always found them to be more attractive than the newer plastic ones. I have about 99 percent of the car. All the chrome, handles, light bezels, lights, and switches are there. the tach and one of the other gages are broken. i took all the parts off to repaint it and never got around to it. Most of the rust has been taken care of and the car is in primer. One of the hood hinges broke and is missing. the seats are not original. they came out of a geo metro. there is just a piece of canvas on top since the top was complete rotted when i got the car. Heater, lights and switches worked. i cut one cross brace on the chassis directly under the engine because i thought i would have clearance issues. i didn't and the cut wasn't necessary. This is the best description i can give to my recollection. would love to finish this project but i no longer have a garage. i am starting the bidding at $200. that is fair value for just the bumpers. no reserve. good luck. no international shipping.
