This is one nice ride! Original drive train down to the Carb, wich was rebuilt by M&M Machine in Texas.One pat on the Gas pedal and it starts on the first tiime even on a cold day. Over $8000 invested in parts not including Labor. Drive train is numbers matching Trophy 389 Two Barrel 400 Automatic. Trans shifts smoothly. Engine runs quiet and powerfully Car retains Mostly stock components with the exception of the 1967 Restored rally IIs. I will hit some high lights of what the car restoration has included but not all the restored and replaced parts will be listed in the auction, if you bid ill be glad to send detailed list of whats beed done to this fine wide track Convertible. Engine was mostly untouched mileage is believed to be correct at 69k Motor is pretty quiet and responsive Carb was rebuilt to better than GM specs. of course it has all new hoses plugs wires belts and electronics vaccume hoses. Doesnt drip much a drop or two from the trans and rear seal seapage is minimal. Engine runs smooth. Could use a set of valve seals but really has wonderfull power the way it is.Radiator is brand new triple core HD all aluminum performance unit. transmission was untouched except fluid and filter change. Very very good condition, the turbo 400 is a beautiful numbers matching unit. Convertible Top Pads rear window hydralics and Motor and high pressure lines top Switch and wires are all brand new. All tires are as new and brakes stop very quickly with new lines and wheel cylinders. Body restoration including all metal patch panels new radiator support (Rust Free) and most chrome and stainess p[olished or averaghe condition bumpers are donre by TRI-City and are triple chrome plated show chrome. Doors close solid. as do trunk and hood with great alignment. Wheels are restored Rally IIs. I do bieve the mileage to be corrct as the original resonator is still in place and at the time of purchase so were the shocks although idid replace them with period correct shocks. Front and is tight and does not pull or wander. Car is very solid. There truely is too much to list on this beautiful car. interior and exterior are in very good condition interior has some minor flaws and was upgraded with Bonneville and Parisene upgrads over the STANDARD CATALINA PARTS. oRIGINAL Am RADIO WORKs excellent AND THE BOTH FRONT AND REAR SPEAKERS WORK! Things that dont work currently are the Horn (since it was painted) and clock works only when the car is running. dash pad is cracked but the dash cover covers this and the steering wheel is weathered and i could not find a red one that was better this past summer. Car has new tinted front winshield New battery new and reconditioned interior. All weatherstripping on the car has been replace including doors convertible top windows and trunk. Has Power steering and power drum brakes. Car is kept in a carpeted garage and never sees rain or bad weather. Car has been the south esp North carolina most of its long life and i have owners manual PHS historic Services printout and about 2 inches of Reciepts and paper work. Included with the sale of the car will be the original spinner wheel covers for the purists. But really the restored rally IIs really look great! Clean and clear title and remember I Have been selling Cars and Parts on ebay since 1998 I am a Pontiac nut! local inspection is welcome and encouraged. You wont see another one like this at such a reasonable price! Paint is a solid 8 out of ten. Only very minor flaws. Extremly good driver local car cruiser condition.This is A 44 YEAR OLD CAR AND NO WARRANTY IS AVAILABLE. ITS A CLASSIC AUTOMOBILE THAT HAS BEEN DESCRIBED HONESTLY BUT ANY 44 YEAR OLD CAR WILL HAVE MINOR FLAWS.
