Vehicle Detail

Beauitiful 1968 Ford Mustang GT/CS California Special. Yes, its a real one. This car is a very rare edition, and actually the original color was candy apple red, but was changed to white. It has the ORIGINAL - FRESHLY REBUILT 302, 4bbl, numbers matching for date codes and intake, etc. new radiator, new alternator, new PS Pump, new carb, but have the ORIGINAL carb that will go with the car, new brake booster, and master cylinder, yes, power disc brakes, new battery, freshly rebuilt C4 transmission, new gas tank, new sender, pretty much a new drive train with a lot of $$ invested. New headliner inside, new carpet, and a very rare "REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER". Drivers remote mirror, with matching passenger manual mirror. Factory original hood twist locks. New windshield, door panels, armrests, and has the full console. has new speakers in the back deck panel, wired to the front, but not hooked up as we were going to put a newer stereo in the glove box but never got that far. it does have an original radio but the only thing missing from the car is the radio knobs as someone decided they needed them more than we did. ok, now the good and bad, >> the car is actually a 4 speed car, that was converted to an automatic. BUT, I have the ORIGINAL transmission, pedals, linkage, flywheel, etc that will go with the car as well should you want to convert it back, everything is there ! I even have a 4speed console top . I have an overhead console that was going to go in the car that will also be included. It has the turn signal hood, the correct chrome GT wheels, and brand new BF Goodrich Radial TA's with maybe 20 miles on them. pop open gas cap, new bumpers, etc etc etc. This car is really beautiful, its definately not PERFECT, not a 100 pt show car by any means, but a beautiful daily driver. I am sure I have missed a lot in the descriptions and what all has been done to the car, so, if you have ANY questions at all, please ask before bidding. I even have a copy of the original HAND WRITTEN log sheet from the sale of this car in 1968 from a local ford dealership that sold it new, showing date sold, price, to whom, and the holdback made on the car. This car is sold AS-IS, and with no warranty. ok, for the winning bidder, a $ 500.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of the end of the Auction unless other arrangements are made between us. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, or sell it to the next high bidder. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. I will keep it in secure dry storage until arrangements can be made within a REASONABLE amount of time to be discussed between us. Please do not bid on this auction unless you are serious about purchasing this vehicle. This car wasnt done to SELL, it was done to keep, but some unforseen circumstances forces the sale of a really rare car. thank you
