You are veiwing a Near perfect 1976 Lincoln Continental "Cartier Edition" Designer series. This car is a head turner. This car has not been registered since 2001. Odometer reading is 86,893 on this. This auction has is priced at the N.A.D.A. LOW RETAIL price (The condition of this car Acording to the NADA would be in the Average Retail section,but the reserve is in the Low-retail range) Im listing this for a co-worker. (This car was his fathers car who had past away a few years earlier then the last registration year.) He was the second owner of the car.,the first owner only had it for about 1-year when new.(I have the title for this car.) His father had babied this car and had driven it daily.It had a full quallity paint job stripped down to the bare metal before he had passed away.(about 11 years ago and has been sitting in garage since 2001).This Lincoln has been completely undercoated,and the frame is great shape,and the engine still starts and sounds great. The car is starting to have some surface rust appearing,and the heater core is leaking,and the drivers seat motor goes up & down but not forward.But besides this small stuff this car is in good shape. The Engine is a 460 four barrel that has 86,893,with an Automatic Tranny.The interior is in great original shape.It also has the curb ticklers on the passengers side, If any other Questions or inquiries of any sort please ask away and i will ask my co-worker and get the info for you as best as possible.
