Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my clean '56 Ford Mainline. It runs and drives very good and is very dependable. I bought this car to use as a daily driver, however I have relocated my job, and decided this car was too nice to drive 50+ miles up and down the Garden State Parkway... The car has the black wall bias plys with white rims and no hubcaps, giving it that cool hot rod look. The car drives very well with no rattles and is very quiet inside. 272 Cubic Inch Y Block Pertronix Electronic Ignition 2 Barrel Carb Single Exhaust, However i do have the dual exhaust, exhaust manifolds that come with the car, if you want to go that route. 3 Speed Manual shift on the column The brakes work well and I put new shoes and all new wheel cylinders. The interior is in very nice condition and is all original except for the carpet, which has been replaced and is also very nice. Everything works, the lights, horn, blinkers, interior light, All the gauges work,(Speedometer, gas temperature, etc) Wipers, heat, defrosters, all work well. The only thing that doesn't work is the radio and the parking lights, only because they weren't reconnected after being disconnected to get the car painted... I would guess that the radio just needs new tubes to work, but am unsure. The Body is in very nice shape. The car was repainted the original color, with a very high quality paint job. It is a very solid, rust free car. The chrome is very nice all around. This car is up for auction with NO RESERVE..The buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements, however I could assist loading onto a trailer if that is the route the buyer wants to take. If you have any questions please feel free to ask! Good Luck, GOD BLESS AMERICA!! Happy Bidding!
