This listing is for a 1991 964 Carrera 2 Targa. The car features a completely, professionally rebuilt motor that makes this car run superior to cars with half its mileage. This 911 starts without hesitation, runs and drives just as it should, and corners and brakes better than some track prepared cars I’ve driven. It has a complete JIC Cross Adjustable Coilover Suspension and upgraded late-964 C2 Brake Calipers. It sits on 17” OEM Cup I Wheels with NEW BF Goodrich Ultra Performance tires all around, has newly upgraded 993 leather seats, and has a newly recovered Targa top. Please read through my thorough description so that you have an accurate idea of the vehicle's condition, and let me know if you have any questions. Maintenance The maintenance on this car has been meticulous, with all records neatly filed away since day one. The engine rebuild receipt and some of the other receipts, as well as copies of the factory documents are available upon request from serious buyers. I still have the original window sticker, manuals, and all other goodies. The car also had new tires and a fresh alignment just a few days ago. Exterior/Interior The paint and interior on this car are both in very good condition. The black paint shines beautifully with no fading or clear coat peeling. The car has smoked corner lights all around, and the removed rear center reflector is included with the car. There are some minor rock chips and small scratches on the exterior, as would be expected for a well-kept car of this age and mileage. There also is some very light paint cracking on the rear bumper which is hard to see unless looking very closely, and a tiny spot of paint bubbling on the base of the rear window, as pictured below. I removed the engine undertray to snap a picture, but it is in good condition and will be secured properly. The interior has no blemishes or damage other than a very small nick in one of the front seats, and a torn seem on the shift boot. The new leather seats are not a perfect color match (as with any seat replacement or recover), but they fit in very nicely, as you can see in the pictures. I do also still have the original seats, which will be included if the buyer desires. Options/Electronics All of the electronic components, including power locks, power windows, factory alarm, automatic lifting spoiler, etc. are in very good working condition. Even the hood and deck lid shocks are in really nice firm shape. The vents, heat and A/C work properly, but there is a hum coming from one of the blower motors which could need to be addressed eventually. Also, one of the seat tilt switches is sticking, but I am working on getting that replaced. Overview This car is a great opportunity to get that awesome 3.6 twin plug power, coupled with adjustable coilover suspension and big brakes for cheaper than most older Porsches out there for sale. This is not a collector car, but it drives and looks like it has less than half the miles, and I would trust it to go anywhere. I just recently ran it on a 270 mile trip and it did flawlessly. Details The car has a clear PA title in my name, free of all liens, and ready to transfer to the new owner. A $1,000 Paypal deposit is due within 24 hours of sale. The balance of payment is due within 10 days of sale via certified check, wire transfer or cash in person. Pick-up or shipping of the vehicle is the full responsibility of the buyer, but I am happy to meet your shipper to load the vehicle at a mutually agreed upon time.
