Here is my 98 Frod Ranger extended cab, 4wd 5 speed truck for your consideration. It can be hard to find a truck with a manual transmission, especially one with 4wd but heres a good one. The 4L runs great, is always smooth and with plenty of the low end grunt that these motors are known for. The 5 spd shifts well and the clutch feels tight and smooth. It comes with a limited slip rear end, a trailer hitch, A pioneer stereo with a 6 disc changer in the back of the cab, A/C, rear sliding glass, rear jump seats, a very nice and gently used Kohler tool box with lock and 2 keys, 4wd on the fly, airbags with control on the passaner side bag if needed, 235/75/15 times with good tread, cloth seats instead of the sticky alternative vinyl, an extra 12v source on the dash and extendable cup holders. This truck has no real issues, a few imperfections but as far as why I'm selling it, I just don't need it. I thought I could replace my old F-150 and my car with one vehicle. I miss my car and I don't enjoy driving pickups all that much, so instead of selling them, I'm selling the ranger after giving the idea a few months. As far as the imperfections go, the obvious ones are the rear passanger side of the bed and the windshield crack. I bought the truck with this damage and didn't realy ask about it. The box is not rusting or chipped or even scratched, its just not straight. I keep it clean and it hasn't started to rust or anything so left it. The windshield is cracked but not in the drivers view. The previous owner had a little dog who pawed at the drivers door panel, thats why the material is missing around the door lock. The cigaette lighter is loose but can still be used for power. I don't smoke and neither did the previous owner, so don't worry about any smell. Other than that it has a scratch here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary. The 4wd works great, the switch is right in view and it finds 4 Hi and 4 Low everytime. There are no manual hubs to get out and set, it takes care of itself. The snow coming in the next couple of months, this will be a nice feature. The truck is located near Vinton, Ia. 52349. The rear brakes, parking brake cables, spark plugs, plug wires have been replaced within the last 6 months. It has a factory replacement K&N air filter.
