FOR SALE: 1979 Ford Ranchero – 351 V8 with a 2 barrel carburetor and automatic transmission. I bought this car hoping to restore; no time, and now no money. I would like to recover what I paid for it. Have driven it for less then an hour, goes down the road just fine. Don’t know how a BIG car like this should ride, but it seemed stable and followed true (no dog tracking). Body looks great, I have noticed parts have been repainted, but body looks original and untouched. I have found no evidence of crashes, bad rust, body parts replacements, or bondo. I see surface rust only on the doors, a small amount on the tailgate, and bed interior. The engine runs good / starts fine. Appears to have a small leak in the engine compartment, smells like gas. Engine compartment is dirty, over 150,000 miles on car. Power steering makes noise when you turn the wheel, interior is trash-need complete re-do.
