Vehicle Detail
1991 Porsche 928 S4/Automatic Mileage: 44,752 Color: Red Vin# WPOAA2929MS810268 Interior: Black Transmission: Automatic Engine: V-8 – Dual-Overhead Cam, 32 valve Porsche 928 S4 Automatic with ONLY 44,752 miles All electronics work (power seats, power windows, gauges, lights, etc.). The seats, interior, and carpet is the original factory carpet and in excellent condition. There are no cracks on dash or leather interior. Original paint with no damage or rust. All brake indicator pads and trip computer work properly. Sunroof with new rubber seals. 80% rubber on Bridgestone Potenza 245/45R16 tires. I acquired the car in July 2009 with 34,875 miles and have driven the car several long trips from my home in Texas to second home in Las Vegas and up to Chicago. No problems at all. After 10,000 miles I decided to fix a few things. The car was serviced on 8/31/10 and refurbish right front and right rear wheels (parking scrapes), wheel alignment both front and rear, new rear sway bars, new smog pump and all drive belts, rear hatch motor replaced, rear tail light sockets, new front brakes. Before acquiring the car from an exotic car dealer there were two issues on Carfax: 1. Major Title Issue: This may have been something in the past years ago, but I've had the car titled and licensed in Texas and have a clear title. There are no title issues. This may have been an odometer issue, but records indicate this is not a problem as all mileage reports are consistent. 2. Accident or Damage Reported: Inspection revealed there was no body damage. I believe there was an incident that may have damaged the the underside alternator or a/c unit. Optional front skid plates are now installed on the car. This is a common problem for this model. Read more at: http://www.928motorsports.com/parts/chinplate.php The car appears to have been lifted from the rear and the towing hooks attached to the rear sway bar. During tire alignment the slightly bent sway bar was noticed and replaced with a new sway bar. When this occurred is not known, but the skid plates were installed on 11/27/07, so it may have been at the same time. I had my own technician inspect the car and paperwork prior to purchase and was satisfied they were not major issues as I received a clear title and decided the damage would was limited to the front spoiler and or the alternator bottoming out requiring the towing of the car. The car has subsequently been retitle in Texas with a clear title. I acquired the car in July 2009 with 34,875 miles and as I wanted a nice sports car for interstate driving. I've owned Ferrari's, Lambo's, Pantera's, DeTomaso's, etc. and always wanted to try out this car and have been impressed how comfortable and easy to drive the car is on long trips. In turns of value for money it's hard to beat. I drove it on several long trips from my home in Texas to my second home in Las Vegas and up to Chicago. No problems at all. In July after 10,000 miles, besides regular servicing, I decided to fix a few things. The car was serviced on 8/31/10 with refurbished right front and right rear wheels (not shown in pictures), wheel alignment both front and rear, sun roof seals, new rear sway bars, new smog pump and all drive belts, rear hatch motor replaced, rear tail light sockets, new front brakes. All 100% new Porsche factory parts. I'm now selling the car because in mid August I decided to act on a business opportunity and have now relocated overseas. The car is at my ranch property and can be shown or delivered by the property manager to the successful bidder. If you have any questions I'll try to answer them best I can in an honest and thruthful manner.
