This is one of 3,296 Allantes made in 1989, out of a total 21, 430 made between 1987 and 1993. I have 10 Allantes (at least one of each year) I have to sell due to health and lost storage. (I have way too many cars in my yard as i had to move them all from the shop). Painted in the most popular color (red) this has a tan interior in great shape and the standard hardtop. The car was hit in the left front but is repairable. I have an almost complete non running parts car that goes with this sale-99% of the parts needed to fix this car are on the parts car (maybe everything, I'll have to look. The parts car is missing the hardtop, pull down motors, taillights, rear bumper, license plate holder. It has a very nice interior. Easily worth a few thousand parted out) This vehicle was designed by the Italian sports car designer Pininfarina, and was Cadallic's first venture into the two seat convertible sports car market. In 1989, the price was $57,183. Allanté's engine, the new 4.5 L V8 produced 200 horsepower, and with 270 lb·ft , it provided the most torque from any front-wheel-drive automobile in the world. The car has aftermarket wheels and overall is in very nice shape. Leg injury and arthritis prevented me from working on any cars this last year so they have to go as I am not getting any better. If you’ve never driven in an Allante before find one to test drive-you will then want one of your own. Always gets great compliments and second looks. These two cars go as a pair to the highest bidder. No reserve. I will be losing money on these-my loss your gain. Thanks you for everything.
