Wow is is a very hard to find metropolatan conv. that has been in dry storage since 1984. This car has no rust that I could find anywhere and is in great cond. Have the orig. title from 1979. The old man that passed was restoring her and never got it finished and she just sat in the garage for 26 yrs. I looked for a metro for 10 yrs. before I bought this and at this time in my life I need the money more then I need the car. The step son who sold me the car stated that the miles on the car never turned over and I have no reason not to believe him. I have not tried to start the car but I did turn the motor over by hand and everything is free. I bought new brake cylinders from pit-stop and a rebuild kit for the master. Again this car is going to need a little love but not much. She is complete and the only thing you will need to get is new door panels and carpet. Please do not bid if you can't afford to buy her as I need to sell it and I really don't want to. The car is being sold as-is due to the age but, I really don't think thier's much to get her going again. I have all the hubcaps and top. The top will need to be replaced but the bow are good. The eng. bay is complete right down to the air cleaner. The title says the car is a 1961 but I have had a few say it's a 1960 so please if this makes a difference to you make your option by the vin. number.
